What is your purpose?
Why do you want to be seen as a leader?
Numerous con-artists relate leadership to sex.
Numerous con-artists relate leadership and management to money.
But it is not only the con-artists and fake coachers.
It’s their clients as well.
Sex, money and wealth are seen as indicators of success.
Seen as indicators of being in control.
And to a point, they do.
But sex, money and wealth are bad motivators to become a leader.
You know what a good motivator is?
PASSION!
A good manager, CEO and business-owner is passionate.
He wants to succeed not because of fear of failure or losing his “success”.
This is because a boss has no qualms losing it all and starting anew.
A boss is passionate because he believes in his philosophy.
He is passionate about the message brought forth.
He is passionate about the things he does.
There are a lot of people on social media.
People looking at pictures of models near tropical islands.
People reading blogs and newsletters from “rich” people.
Following their hi-jinks.
Craving and wishing to have that kinda life.
Faking it up, racking up debt, getting conned and generally mismanaging their priorities.
Wasting their most valuable asset: TIME.
Just to impress the countless masses who do not care about your being.
You need to be passionate!
If you want to take charge, start small.
Take control over your life.
Look around you, look at your desk.
Is it spotless? Clean?
What’s the state of your room? Your studio? Apartment? House?
Take back control.
Clean and fix it.
Leaders are doers.
You cannot be a successful leader if you live like trash.
It is the reason why I wrote “Stay Hungry”.
It is why I developed “The Jason Method”
And why I also developed “The Self-Made-Man” course.
In order to achieve success you need to take care of yourself first.
Ever seen a millionaire or billionaire living in an unclean house?
Ever seen them wear dirty and stained clothing in public?
Rarely to never.
The first step to successful leadership is taking care of yourself.
Taking care of yourself prepares you for taking care of others.
People are inclined to follow others who have their business in order.
By taking care of your business you will have a better grip and understanding of your situation.
Be more able to steer and commandeer your life to new heights.
This is the first and foremost lesson on the road to success.
The “rich” and “influential” who fell from grace and never got back up had forgotten this.
Take care
Dimitri
