Today I want to talk about something important to the modern investor.

The concept of automatization, IoT (Internet of Things) and Time.

Myself, and you readers of this blog, use the internet on a daily basis.

Those of you who are invested in Crypto, and I know many of you are considering the blogs’ subject, have no problem navigating digital media.

Many of you are digital creators like myself.

Having our own blogs, creating, writing, designing and promoting our stuff.

When I started this blog I wanted it to take off, fast.

I had no audience whatsoever and was keen to share my newly gathered knowledge with like-minded people.

I created and wrote and shared my blog with family and friends.

I reached out on social media to help out those whom are like-minded and seek simple guidance.

I grew “naturally” and with growth came questions and more interactions with my audience.

I love to help people out who start their journey on Cryptocurrency and inquire about it!

Sadly enough, promoting and interacting implies time being eaten up.

Where I want to start writing on a post, I frequently find myself browsing DM’s and answering inquiries.

I find myself creating new tweets and posts on Facebook and Instagram for promotion but spending hours piecing things together.

Actual writing of new entries is slow.

I lack time.

I could bypass by interlocking my social media accounts.

For example, when I tweet I have the option to share it with Facebook.

When I post on Instagram I can have the same image posted on Facebook and Twitter.

This inter-connection has advantages, mainly time-related.

But there are a few down-sides:

– Simultaneous posting isn’t perfect (no images, just boring suspicious looking links)

– Loss of authenticity

– (looking like a scammer/robot/scambot).

Sure, I manage to free up some time but at the cost of my credibility.

I respect myself and my readers too much to exchange time against that.

Both are of equal importance.

I got myself informed about programs and applications which could help me out.

I went after “big accounts” and observed their habits more closely.

I learned about automatization programs and applications.

Programs like “Buffer

Buffer

and “Hootsuit”.

About Hootsuite Insights, powered by Brandwatch – Hootsuite Help ...

They let you connect all your social media in a centralized place and schedule posts in advance.

GREAT!

This is a first step in automatization without losing authenticity.

I can still make posts and promotions by investing a small amount of time and focus with a greater yield over longer periods.

But what most content-creators want is interaction.

People buying their products.

People leaving comments on their art.

Likes, thumbs-ups, ANYTHING.

Things need to be hyped.

Social Media platforms know this well.

They will offer the ability to share and reach-out more behind pay-walls.

Parts of the algorithms de-activated unless bought.

It is the way the Economy works.

Through experience I have learned that indeed the price gives a greater reach..but no added value.

The same blunt message being spread more widely and geographically.

Yet the quality interactions lack.

The reason thereof is we human beings still recognizing organic interaction.

NEEDING organic interactions.

Interactions which feel natural and in-line with character.

Artificial Intelligence is taking great leaps in simulating this.

Such great leaps to the extend certain chatbots are almost indistinguishable from real humans.

They only fall through because of the pile-up of small mistakes, “perfections”, uncommon in man.

While I do love the advancements in technology, human interaction is key.

It’s the imperfections and personal set-up which attracts people.

It is these imperfections, impossible to mimic, that give away what is being dealt with.

I still value my time but do not want to indulge into blunt automatization with as little as interaction possible.

I encountered hypefury .

Hypefury on Twitter: ".@Gumroad creators: Wanna sell your products ...

A unique program which understands the need for authenticity and organic interactions.

It’s focus is based on authenticity.

The ability to increase range and reach out to more people.

To increase relevance WITHOUT compromising on authenticity.

“Hyping” interactions and products as commanded by the own mind.

This is the basis for IoT and good automatization.

Enabling human creativity and interaction over distance and time.

Enabling relevance and shining “light” while being undisturbed in the creative processes and passion.

IoT and automatization are your best friends if used properly.

They help freeing up your greatest asset, TIME.

To understand the message I try to convey here, I can make an allegory with the car-industry.

Many different brands produce a wide variety of cars.

Cars that are being mass-produced for consumption and use.

Miles upon miles of factory-lines for distribution, storage, assembly and production.

Much of it automated.

So you can buy a “decent” car for a low price.

Options can be added which will increase the price as it becomes more personalized.

This is for “general brands” like BMW, Volkwagen, Ford, Suzuki, Nissan, Misubishi,…

But you have exquisite cars.

Beasts of speed and performance.

Of luxury and uniqueness.

These are “organic”. Man-made. Limited editions.

Not only does performance set these apart.

It is the entire service and built-up.

Each car produced is unique in the sense a team of men and women put it together.

This results in each car having its proper “personality” to it.

They are “Authentic” by reason there is a team standing behind these type of cars.

A team which does servicing, knows the in- and outs, know whom to speak to and where each part is from.

This is not the case with general cars.

Parts produced and bought “somewhere”.

A servicing team located “elsewhere”.

Repairs being done (more or less) everywhere.

Automation and IoT is approached like a “general brand” of car.

Spread-out and approachable but lacks the decency and dynamics luxury brands foresee.

As a creator, authenticity is of the utmost importance.

To put it in the wise words of Charlie Chaplin from the film “The Dictator”:

Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical. Our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery we need humanity. More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost….”

[…]

Don’t give yourselves to these unnatural men – machine men with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines! You are not cattle! You are men! You have the love of humanity in your hearts! You don’t hate! Only the unloved hate – the unloved and the unnatural!”

Technology has enabled us degrees of efficiency.

A liberator of potential and time if used correctly.

Technology is a tool, not a means to an end.

Man should always hold the reigns to this.
