Today I want to talk about something which is called a “Satoshi”.
What is a Satoshi?

Satoshi’s are nothing more than small increments of bitcoin.

You can best compare a Satoshi with something like a quarter or cent used in classic money. A small increment with fixed value from the original money (be it Dollars, Pounds, Euro’s).

The name is a derivation from the person (or group of people) “Satoshi Nakamoto” who created Bitcoin.

Satoshi’s enable bitcoin to be cut-up in small increments. It provides much needed liquidity to the coin. It enables anyone to own Bitcoin no matter how big or small their investments are.
