What is it?

Ravencoin is a peer-to-peer blockchain, a fork of the Bitcoin code, which enables users to handle the transfer, and efficient creation, of assets from one party to another.

It is a project with its main use-case being a focus on the transfer of both digital and physical assets. It is a Bitcoin blockchain with added features that enables more fast and easy creation of tokens that represent the underlying asset.

For example:
– I am an organizer who wants to issue out tickets to a game I am hosting. I want it to be secured, easy traceable and resistant to fraud and counterfeits. I ask a team of developers to create a token whereby each token represents 1 ticket to the game I am hosting. By making use of the Ravencoin blockchain will my developers be able to issue tickets backed by blockchain technology. Through the mining process do I know how much tickets (and tokens) are being issued AND what number they are in. I can look up who has ownership and I can prevent double-spending (or people re-using a ticket) to gain access to the event. I can also keep track of tickets unused and available for resale.

The Ravencoin blockchain can also be used for the creation of stablecoins, development of NFTs and so on.

Ravencoin (RVN) makes use of the Proof-Of-Work consensus mechanism with an added x16r mechanism in order to prevent ASIC-mining. The prevention of ASIC-mining is to counter the possibility of centralized mining. Keeping it in a CPU/GPU-range furthers the up-kept decentralization of the project.

In short:
Ravencoin is a Bitcoin 3.0 in the sense that it was further developed with the aim to being able to transfer assets peer-to-peer. Its use of the Proof-Of-Work consensus mechanism with the added x16r algorithm makes sure it is ASIC-resistant and keeps the blockchain decentralized.

Opinion and analysis:

I learned about Ravencoin during my Live Stream called “The Crypto Bull“. It was through a poll of randomly picked projects that I first heard about the “kawing” of the Ravencoin community.

Ravencoin won with a tremendous margin!

This, to me, was a very first pointer of being a very solid project. A Cryptocurrency with such great support (and community) is generally an indication of something BIG.

As I made the live stream, and did the analysis live, I was VERY impressed by what I saw.
– A thriving ACTIVE community
– Regular updates
– A clear and distinct roadmap
– Active development
– A clear and updated website with all contact details.

Considering its technical strengths, its active community and having visited their various social media in combinantion with a tremendous developers support, I soon realized this to be a very underrated project that needs all support it can get. A day or two after the live stream I got my hands on some $RVN and started to help spreading the message. I subscribed to their discord channel to keep in touch with what is moving in the community.

At this point in time is Ravencoin HEAVILY undervalued.
I suggest stepping in NOW as it has tremendous potential for growth.
Due to its main mission and use-case (the peer-to-peer transfer of assets) will the Ravencoin blockchain only grow in importance future-wise. NFT’s are up and coming, gaining traction across the entire market (as well as DeFi (Decentralized Finance)). Ravencoins unique position for being able to provide BOTH makes it a BIG player future-wise.
