All will depend on the kind of investor.
There are 2 distinct families of “investors” for #Bitcoin.
– The speculators.
This family of investors only care about the value of Bitcoin and how it will evolve.
They place bets on how the value of Bitcoin will evolve (be it up or down). These kind of investors encompass daytraders and people who trade the various Bitcoin ETFs and options in hopes of making quick money. Seldom do they hold actual Bitcoin. The brokers and exchanges through which they trade holds the Bitcoin.
– The holders
This family of investors hold actual Bitcoin for the long term. They exchange their fiat money, or #altcoins or both, for Bitcoin. They buy and hold. Many of these type of investors heavily care about Bitcoin and see the added value it brings when compared to the classic finance system. The Bitcoin miners and whales make part of this family of investors. They care about the Bitcoin network and understand its strengths.
The holders care the most about Bitcoin and what it represents.
The speculators lack the Bitcoin/Crypto mindset and generally lack any understanding about its fundamentals. They generally don’t care at all and only want to leverage money out of it.
